Insurance survey

At the start of our work with a Client, we make an insurance survey.
It is meant to help us:

• learn the scope of insurance protection applied so far,
• analyse the risks related to the conducted business activity,
• analyse any damages, failures and claims of third parties,
• analyse the conditions of the Client’s insurance protection in the context of the identified risks,
• define proposals of transfer of selected/key risks to the insurer.

The final result of the survey is a written opinion with comments and proposals of further proceedings regarding the analysed risks.

Broker’s slip

A broker’s slip usually covers:

• specification of the Client’s activity,
• specification of the Client’s property,
• expected coverage within particular insurance types.

Trade negotiations

Negotiations usually cover areas concerning the following:

• the scope of the proposed insurance protection,
• financial conditions (price, amount of shares, fee payment provisions, etc.),
• service conditions of the contract (trainings seminars, available IT tools, dedicated service, etc.).

As the final effect, negotiations allow to agree on optimal conditions of the insurance programme.

Recommendation

A recommendation contains e.g.:

• comparison of the submitted offers with regard to several dozen quality parameters,
• opinion on the proposed insurance protection coverage,
• opinion on the existing exclusions from and limitations of insurance protection,
• proposal on further proceedings as the Client chooses from the presented offers.

Programme implementation

It consists in:

• agreement with the insurers on the content of draft insurance documents and on the consequences of the accepted offers,
• submission of insurance documents to the Client for acceptance and signature,
• organisation of training within the implemented programme for persons indicated by the Client for handling insurance contracts.

Brokerage service

We provide support and active participation in organising the insurance process through:

• submission of projects of procedures of risk management, adjustment and handling of claims under the concluded insurance contracts, including full support for the Client at the stage of procedure implementation,
• collaboration with the Client on a regular basis as concerns executing insurance contracts,
• coordination of the claim adjustment and handling process (between the Client – insurer – expert companies – injured party/ claimant).

Risk management

We also offer full support in the process of preparing and implementing risk management policy covering e.g.:

• risk mapping,
• list of risks,
• risk correlation matrix,
• risk management procedures, including:
• Business Continuity Management (BCM)
• Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP)
• Crisis Management (CM)
• Product Recall (PR),
• reporting standards and responsibility levels.

Trainings and seminars

An important element of our brokerage service is our offer of trainings, workshops and seminars addressed both to our current and future Clients. Dedicated trainings/workshops for Clients concern mainly the issues of executing the contracts concluded as a result of the adopted insurance protection programme.

We wish to promote the issues of business insurance and risk management among business entities and local government units. That objective is accomplished through seminars and conferences where we act as content partner or co-organiser.

A few examples:

• in 2012 we were a content partner of a conference organised by the Regional Branch of the National Chamber of Statutory Auditors in Rzeszów, titled: „Audit for Business Security and Development. Selected Aspects of a Company’s Business Risk Transfer”,
• in 2013 we were a content partner of a conference organised by the Podkarpackie Association of Local Governments, titled: „Risk Management in Local Government Units. Selected Issues in Risk Control and Transfer”,
• in March 2016, we co-organised a conference with the UITM Institute of Risk Analysis, titled:„The Conflict in Ukraine with a View to the Security of Institutions and Business in Eastern Poland".

Service synergy

We are open to possible collaboration and its coordination with our business partners engaged in issues of broadly understood risk. They include:

• law firms providing services within business, civil, administrative and fiscal law,
• expert companies providing services within adjustment of property and personal damage claims,
• expert companies providing services within damage repair and restoration of damaged property (buildings, machines, documents, etc.),
• expert companies providing services within BCM, DRP, CM,
• expert companies and scientific institutes providing services within developing risk management policies, security audits, etc.
